Why operators choose Birtour

What rivals in this market do not publish.

01

Local since 2014. Not a sales office.

Our Baku team coordinates guides, logistics and event services. Ask for the proposed guide’s name, working languages, relevant experience and any applicable credentials before confirming.

02

Discuss your brief with our team.

Include your decision deadline with the enquiry. Confirm proposal timing and in-destination support arrangements before booking.

03

We send tailored proposals, never catalog copies.

Every brief starts with a discovery call. You receive a proposal built around your guests, budget, and brand. No recycled Azerbaijan paint-by-numbers.

04

We carry the documentation procurement asks for.

General liability coverage, supplier indemnification clauses, and full guide and driver insurance. The paperwork your corporate procurement team needs before signing.

Frequently asked questions

Questions foreign buyers actually ask.

A destination management company (DMC) coordinates local transport, accommodation, guides, activities and event logistics. Birtour supports tour operators and corporate planners with ground services in Azerbaijan, and also accepts direct enquiries from individual travellers, families and private groups. The programme and contracting terms depend on your enquiry.

Our published programmes include Baku and Absheron, Gabala, Sheki, Quba and Khinalig, Lankaran, Ganja and Nakhchivan. Tell us the places and dates you want to visit. Transport, guide availability, seasonal access and any flights between regions are confirmed in your itinerary and quotation.

Proposal timing depends on the dates, services and supplier checks your brief needs. Include your decision deadline when enquiring and agree the delivery schedule with our team.

Yes. We accept briefs from tour operators arranging leisure travel and from corporate planners arranging meetings, incentives and conferences. Individual travellers, families and private groups can also enquire directly. Tell us which type of trip you are planning so the proposal addresses the right services and contract requirements.

Specify your preferred guiding language and dates when enquiring. Published tour programmes state their proposed guide arrangements, including English and Japanese-language variants. The assigned guide, language coverage and any supplement need written confirmation for your booking; no fixed notice period guarantees availability.

Send the number of adults and children, or your expected delegate count, with the proposed dates. Published products have different party-size assumptions. Vehicle allocation, room occupancy, venue capacity and staffing are confirmed for the specific programme rather than through one universal group-size limit.

Payment and contract terms are set out in the written quotation and booking agreement. Check the currency, deposit, balance deadline, cancellation charges, refund process and bank details before paying. Terms shown on an individual programme apply to that proposal; they are not a company-wide payment policy.

You can request visa-application support as part of your programme. Provide passport nationality and travel dates so the required assistance and its fees can be specified. Check entry eligibility, required documents and processing time with the relevant official authority before booking travel; assistance does not guarantee approval.

This page does not verify current insurance coverage or policy limits. Request the applicable policy documents before contracting, then check the insured legal entity, activities, territory, validity dates, exclusions and claim procedure. Vehicle, supplier and professional-liability cover should be identified separately where relevant.

Charter arrivals and large-group transfers can be included in your brief. Provide the flight details, passenger count, baggage requirements and any assistance needs. The quotation must confirm airport permissions, meeting arrangements, vehicles, staffing and any VIP service; these are not included automatically.

April–June and September–October are peak for cultural and mountain regions (mild weather, full programs running). July–August suits Caspian coastal programs. December–March offers ski programs in Shahdag and Tufandag, and is ideal for indoor MICE. We run year-round.

No current association membership or accreditation is independently verified on this page. If your procurement requires one, request the certificate, membership number, legal-entity name and validity dates, and confirm them with the issuing organisation.

Birtour runs both. For tour operators selling short city breaks or corporate buyers producing single-city incentives, we operate dedicated Baku-only programs. See our Baku DMC and Baku MICE agency pages for the city-scoped service stack. For multi-region itineraries spanning Gabala, Sheki, Quba, Lankaran, and Naxçıvan, we coordinate end-to-end from your guests' arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) through every regional handover.
